Handmade horse rump strip leather watch strap.
Strong, soft and hard wearing.
Vegetable tanned which means the leather has low sheen or matt finish and and non toxic compared with other tanned processes.

Leather source – Japan

Dimensions (20mm lug)  – 125mm x 86mm (including buckle)

Not to be confused with Shell Cordovan. Rump strip is further forward of the ‘shell’.
Horse rump a ‘high end’ leather but less refined than Cordovan. More like cowhide in that grain, marks, scratches, uneven texture etc may be detected, especially under magnification. if you are unsure and expect this leather to be smooth and unblemished then please choose another strap instead of Horse rump.

Horse rump leather is a fantastic alternative to Shell Cordovan and costs less than one quarter of the price.
