Australia Post Price Increase
Aus post increased their prices for parcel post in July. Unfortunately i cannot keep absorbing yearly Australia Post price increases. Imagine it being cheaper to send something from China to Australia than from Sunshine Coast to Melbourne for example.
Our strap prices will be slowly adjusted over the month of July to compensate for the increase.
Imagine if it was free for businesses to ship goods in Australia.

Support emails
Just wanted to let customers contacting me via support know that if you ask me a question about a strap i may link to a strap at the shop page for reference. Sometimes your email provider will automatically block emails containing a link and send it to your spam or bulk folder instead of your inbox.
If you have contacted support and you haven’t had a reply within 48 hours then you should look in your spam folder. Perhaps you should also resend the original email just incase we did not receive it.
New Mapleton Colour
One of our most popular straps is being released in a new colour. Mapleton Blue coming soon.
Alligator – Don’t be Fooled into Paying High Prices
Some people have emailed support in the past and asked about the Alligator straps and why so inexpensive.
Two reasons…
1. only a small piece of Alligator skin is needed and are usually offcuts from handbags and other large items.
2. I love all of the imperfections that brands like HERMES try to avoid by cutting around. I want to see the fight marks and the natural animal scratches so those pieces /straps are actually cheaper to source. Having said that, not all Exotic skins have fight marks. Some are more perfect than others and that’s the beauty of leather and skin. Unique.
See images at strap pages. I add lots more images than any other shop does so that you can get a better idea of what you are about to purchase.
April 2024
Rally racing strap
Coming soon – A new version of Rally/Racing strap will be added to the shop soon. I’m very excited about this new strap and i’m sure it will be very popular.
Coolum plain
An addition to the popular Coolum Alligator pattern – Coolum plain leather will be available soon.
Buckle and Clasp Choices
More straps with buckle and/or clasp colour choices are slowly being added to the shop.
The majority of straps in the shop will eventually have silver, gold, black and rose gold colour choices without any price increase.

Cooroy v1 contaminated glue issue
Cooroy v1 (original – with quick release) has been temporarily removed from the shop until I am satisfied the glue problem has been fixed. Cooroy v1 does not have any edge stitching so problem is exacerbated with this particular strap and similar ‘Handmade’ strap versions.
By the way, not just us or leather straps. Friends and colleagues in the leather industry are reporting similar issues. You can use just about any glue with leather but in our case the glue that is used needs to be of the flexible variety and pliable when the leather wraps around the wrist. Issue seems to be with ‘flexible’ leather glue only. Glue problems do happen from time to time. Not the first time, won’t be the last. Stay tuned and we should have the Cooroy v1 strap sorted and back in the shop soon.
